SOLAR BIKE runs a special for people wanting to get a bit of fitness and make a little money on the side by being delivery drivers for the booming food delivery company DELIVEROO. We offer subsidised rental rates and if you choose to purchase the bicycle then half of the money spent on rental comes off the purchase price.

Usual rates are $35 per day and $150 per week; DELIVEROO rider rates are $25 per day and $115 per week. We hire out the electrified AVANTI Discovery; a high performing hybrid bicycle and we also hire out our own SOLAR BIKE model for people preferring a step-through bicycle. Bicycles can be provided with rear carrier baskets, locks and helmets. These bicycles will give an electric riding range of between 35 – 80km depending on rider input.

Terms and conditions:

  • A $1000 deposit and rental fee is required upfront when renting any bicycle. It is fully refunded upon return of the bicycle.
  • Bicycles must be picked up and returned at our Fremantle shop.
  • Punctures incur a cost of $20 to fix – or $10 a tube and you can fix it yourself in our shop.
  • Your safety and the bicycle’s safety is your responsibility. If you lose it or damage it then you must pay for it or its repair.
